The horsehair polishing and dust brush by Langer & Messmer is a classic that belongs in every shoe care kit. It excels at polishing smooth leather shoes to a high gloss as well as removing dust and light surface dirt after wearing.
We use horsehair from the tail for our brushes, which is significantly sturdier than mane hair. The varying bristle thickness provides excellent polishing performance and ensures even distribution of shoe cream and wax across the leather. The side grooves of the stained wooden body allow for an ergonomic grip.
