Leather losing its shine despite cream? SAPHIR Polishing Wax seals smooth leather with beeswax and carnauba wax, repels moisture, and delivers a brilliant high-gloss finish. 12 shades, 50 ml.
Leather shoes looking dull despite regular cream? SAPHIR Polishing Wax seals smooth leather with beeswax and carnauba wax, repels moisture, and delivers the high-gloss finish of the English shoe care tradition.
Wax vs Cream: Understanding the Difference
Leather cream penetrates the pores and nourishes the leather from within. Polishing wax seals the surface and forms a protective layer that repels moisture and resists dirt. The two products complement each other. Sequence: cream first, wax last.
Ingredients and Shades
The formula contains soluble dye crystals, beeswax, palm wax, and balsam turpentine oil. Available in 12 shades: Colourless, Black, Cognac, Tobacco, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Grey, Navy Blue, Wax Yellow, Bordeaux, and Mahogany. Match the shade to your leather's colour to preserve its natural tone, or go one shade darker for greater depth and richness. Content: 50 ml.
How to Apply SAPHIR Polishing Wax
- Clean the shoe: remove dust with a horsehair brush; treat stubborn stains with a suitable cleaner and allow to dry completely.
- Apply leather cream in the matching shade sparingly, work in with circular motions, allow approx. 10 minutes to absorb, then buff with a horsehair brush.
- Apply polishing wax in a thin layer with a cotton cloth or brush, allow 5 minutes to set, then buff to a high gloss with a horsehair brush or cotton cloth.
Tip: Less is more. Thin layers produce the cleanest shine. Always test compatibility on a hidden area first.
