How Mirror Gloss Differs from Regular Polish Wax
Regular polishing wax nourishes and protects the entire leather surface. Mirror Gloss is a water-based polish formulated specifically for mirror shine: particularly hard waxes and natural colour pigments are worked with a few drops of water to produce a deep, reflective layer. Mirror Gloss is applied exclusively to the toecap and heel, not across the whole shoe.

The formula contains montan wax, carnauba wax, beeswax, natural solvents, and natural colour pigments. Available in seven shades: Colourless, Black, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Navy Blue, and Bordeaux. Content: 75 ml.
How to Apply SAPHIR Mirror Gloss
- Clean, cream, and buff the shoe first (complete the standard care routine).
- Pick up a small amount of Mirror Gloss on a cotton cloth and apply a thin layer to the toecap or heel.
- Add a few drops of water to the wax layer and polish in circular motions. The water supports the build-up of the mirror shine.
- Repeat the process as desired. Each thin layer intensifies the mirror shine.
Tip: Less Mirror Gloss and more water generally lead to the best result. Thin layers and a little patience produce a particularly even mirror shine. Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application.
