How to stretch your shoes: step by step
Spray the tight areas from both outside and inside with the included leather stretching spray. This softens the leather and prepares it for stretching. Return the stretcher to its smallest position (turn anti-clockwise) and insert into the shoe. Mark the pressure points, remove the stretcher, attach the appropriate plugs, and re-insert. Gently turn the handle clockwise until the stretcher slowly opens. To also stretch the length, turn the knurled thumbscrew on the handle anti-clockwise. Avoid over-stretching at all times.
After 24 hours, return the stretcher to its smallest position and try on the shoe. Repeat if needed, opening slightly wider each time. Multiple moderate sessions are always preferable to a single forceful stretch. Contact us if you have any questions.
