The horsehair welt brush by Langer & Messmer is designed for the care and cleaning of the welt between sole and upper leather. The soft horsehair protects the upper leather and reaches the welt area precisely – including difficult-to-access spots.
We use horsehair from the tail for our brushes, which is significantly sturdier than mane hair. The brush picks up both shoe cream and conditioning products reliably and distributes them evenly along the welt.
