In our 6-piece shoe care set you will find all the utensils necessary for leather care.
Our cotton cloths are made of 100% cotton and can be used both dry and wet. They are ideal for applying shoe polish and wax in measured doses and provide a quick shine when polishing.
The crucible brushes are very suitable for applying shoe polish and shoe wax even in hard-to-reach places. Damage to the upper leather is avoided as horsehair is soft enough to prevent scratches.
Langer & Messmer leather care creams with their natural ingredients such as carnauba wax are ideal for the care of all types of smooth leather.

Our recommendation for ideal smooth leather care
Always proceed in the same order and please check the compatibility of each care product on a non-visible or concealed area. For handbags, the underside or the inside of straps and fasteners are ideal. For shoes, the area around the heel or even the tongue or flap is a good place to test the compatibility.
First clean the product to be cared for. Remove dust and light dirt with a horsehair brush or a soft cotton cloth. Deep-seated dirt and stains that have not completely disappeared in the first step should be treated with a suitable cleaning agent.
If you have used a cleaning agent, let it dry on the leather and then start the second step of leather care. Now apply a leather cream sparingly in the appropriate shade. Massage the leather cream into the surface using light circular movements and without applying pressure.
Langer & Messmer Leather Cream: Tips for use
Check for colour fastness in a concealed area before use.
Clean the leather with a slightly damp cloth. If the leather is very dirty, use leather soap or leather cleaner and the dirt brush to remove impurities and old care residues. Then apply the leather care cream sparingly and evenly with the jar brush or cotton cloth. For a beautiful and silky shine, leave the leather care cream to soak in for approx. 15 minutes and polish out with the cotton cloth or a horsehair brush.
