Leather Insole in Sheepskin by Langer & Messmer
The Langer & Messmer leather insole is a breathable shoe insert made from soft sheepskin with a natural cork backing, manufactured in Germany.
Sheepskin is naturally soft and breathable. It absorbs the moisture generated during wear and releases it evenly through the porous leather structure, significantly improving the climate inside the shoe. This prevents the heat build-up and uncomfortable burning sensation that closed synthetic insoles often cause. The natural cork backing provides light cushioning and gradually adapts to the individual shape of the foot through body heat and weight.
The insole is particularly well suited to Goodyear welted leather shoes, Oxford and Derby styles, where the insole has worn smooth after extended use. It is easy to insert and stays securely in position thanks to the non-slip cork backing. Its shape-retaining construction means it holds its form and cushioning properties over an extended period of use.
