Why are 100% cotton socks so hard to find? Most manufacturers have replaced pure cotton with synthetic blends to cut costs and improve shape retention. Langer & Messmer deliberately chose "cotone caldo", a fine warm cotton yarn spun by Filmar, one of Italy's most respected yarn manufacturers. The yarn uses medium-staple fibres, 20-28mm in length, sourced from Egypt, Sudan and Peru, then dyed to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. No harmful substances against your skin.
Are 100% cotton socks better? For men who prioritise natural comfort, breathability and a soft hand-feel, yes. These socks are calf-length and plain-knit, with a reinforced toe and heel for lasting wear.
