Why Use Shoe Trees?
During wear, leather shoes absorb moisture. Without shoe trees, the leather dries in the creased position. Trees correct this after every wearing: they hold the leather in its stretched original shape throughout the drying phase.
Why Untreated Cedar?
Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) contains natural essential oils that absorb moisture, emit a pleasant scent, and inhibit bacterial growth. Once treated or lacquered, the pores are sealed and the oils can no longer work. Our shoe trees are untreated: maximum function, no compromise for appearance.
Double Spring and Split Toe Piece
Double spring in the length, single front spring, split adjustable front piece. The tree adapts to the shoe, not the other way around.
How to Use
Insert immediately after removing shoes. Push the front section as far in as possible, press the heel section down until the tree sits firmly. Gap between sections approximately 1 cm. Adjust width using the screw. To remove, slide the heel section slightly forward and lift out.
