Leather care with SAPHIR Renovateur

is used in particular when leather shoes - but also other products made of smooth leather such as bags or jackets - have been neglected for a while, and really revives them. Because these high-quality smooth leathers need special care, otherwise the natural material tends to become hard and brittle in the long run and loses its original Shine.

We have listed the most important properties of this exceptional care product for you:

• Colorless care cream based on lanolin and mink oil with proportions of highly purified beeswax. Suitable for all smooth and muted leathers.
• Nourishes, conditions, protects, refreshes colors and keeps leather supple. Free of resins, silicone oils and solvents.
• Colorless intensive care for fine smooth leather. Very suitable for restoring lost elasticity. The balm of selected oils and little wax is quickly absorbed into the leather and gives it back its natural resistance.
   

The correct application

Apply the leather care product with a cotton cloth or a soft crucible brush and rub it in with circular movements. Now let the Renovateur work in for approx. 5-10 minutes. Then polish the leather to a shine with a shine brush.

Much helps much or less is more?

Our recommendation for the ideal leather care

Always proceed according to the same sequence and please test the compatibility of each care product, on a non-visible or concealed area. For handbags, the underside or the inside of straps and fasteners are ideal. In the case of shoes, the area around the heel or the tongue or flap can be used to test compatibility.

First, clean the product to be cared for. Dust and light dirt can be removed with a horsehair brush or a soft cotton cloth. Deep-seated dirt and stains that have not completely disappeared in the first step, please treat with a suitable cleaning agent.

If you have used a cleaning agent, let it dry on the leather and then start with the second step of leather care. Now apply a leather cream sparingly in the appropriate shade. Massage the leather cream into the surface with light circular movements and without pressure.

Tip

• A darker shade will cause the leather to darken.
• With a lighter shade, the color tone is preserved

After a resting time of approx. 10 minutes, polish the leather with the horsehair brush.

In the third and last step, apply the wax sparingly and gently in the same application mode. In this way, you protect the leather surface against weathering and external influences. You can achieve a beautiful high gloss by polishing the leather with the horsehair brush for a longer time and with quick movements. (Alternatively with a cotton cloth)
