About SAPHIR MEDAILLE D'OR
With its award-winning leather care products, the French brand Saphir Medaille D'Or has been an essential product for every leather lover worldwide since the beginning of the 20th century. The products are gentle and caring and, when used correctly, preserve the shine and structure of the leather. At SAPHIR MEDAILLE D`OR you will find everything you need to care for your leather product, from shoe/leather creams to waxes, cloths, brushes and cleaning agents for various types of leather and textiles.
Leather care with SAPHIR Lotion Macadamia
Is an ideal multi-purpose cleaner and conditioner for more regular use. As it is less rich in oils and waxes, it can therefore be used more frequently than the Saphir Renovatuer. Furthermore, the lotion is more suitable for treating larger leather surfaces or surfaces such as furniture and car interiors. Renovateur, on the other hand, is richer in nourishing ingredients and should be used for intensive care of the leather. To avoid over-saturation of the leather with the ingredients of the Renovateur, SAPHIR has found a way to use the Macadamia Lotion to clean the leather during regular or daily cleaning and to gently care for it with the oil of the macadamia nut.

The correct application
After removing the dirt, apply the lotion with a cotton cloth and let it dry until it looks matt and dry.
Then brush the leather or material with a horsehair brush or a clean cotton cloth until a shine appears on the leather and material Surface.

Our recommendation for the ideal leather care
After a rest period of approx. 10 minutes, polish the leather with the horsehair brush.
In the third and last step, apply the wax sparingly and gently in the same application mode. This protects the leather surface against the effects of weather and other influences. You can achieve a beautiful high gloss by polishing the leather with the horsehair brush for a longer time and with quick movements. (Alternatively, use a cotton cloth)
