The special feature of full Derby brogue is the so-called wingtip cap. This replaces the commonly used straight toe cap and extends over the sides of the shoe’s vamp. The multi-piece construction features perforated or punched holes and serrated edges with forms the brogue's characteristic decorative style. This perforation technique or broguing follows a simple pattern; one large hole followed by two smaller ones. The toe cap is embellished with a punched rosette decoration, which tastefully completes the sporty design of this shoe.
