Application of the Langer & Messmer Hallux Valgus Pliers
With our hallux valgus pliers you can easily and uncomplicatedly eliminate pressure points that are painful on your shoes.
Hallux (big toe) valgus (outward) is the most common deformity of the forefoot and toes. Because of its conspicuous shape, it is also called a bunion. In this case, the big toe "dances" out of line, so to speak, and leans toward the little toes. At the ball of the big toe or also called the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe, the often painfully inflamed swollen metatarsal head emerges in hallux valgus and then presses against the shoe. In order to relieve this area or other areas of the shoe that are painful, our hallux valgus pliers are used. Simply spray the affected area on the leather with our leather stretching spray and press with the bunion pliers under constant pressure and movement the leather according to the foot deformation. This will allow you to create a slight to severe bulge in spots. With this method you eliminate unpleasant rubbing and pressure points and thus adapt your shoes to your orthopedic conditions.
