The boot form is made of untreated cedar wood from the red cedar tree, one of the oldest coniferous species on earth. An important feature of cedar wood is that it can absorb moisture. Moisture from the foot is expelled from the shoe thus prolonging the durability of the leather.
At the same time, cedar wood gives off an aromatic and pleasant fragrance.
